The wakeboard was born from a combination of other disciplines, elements of water skiing, surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding came together in a synthesis adrenaline increasingly widespread worldwide.
Practitioners manage to do all sorts of flips and stunts on a board very similar to snowboarding, dragged by a boat with which they are connected by a rope and a handlebar.
The secret is to tap wakeboard waves produced by the engine of the boat to literally fly through the air. Even using fat sacks, or bags of water that are placed in the stern of the boat to produce bigger waves.
One characteristic of this extreme sport is the absence of rigid rules and the possibility of appealing to creativity. So much so that the only form of wakeboarding is the free style, which consists of the most figures.
